Yup. Did you have time to see what the clowns were made of or not?

Just wondering, can there be miasma demons? I'd fall over in laughter if I saw a dwarf throw a tantrum over smelling a miasma demon  :P

There cannot be.

I didn't really think so, but how do you know for sure? Demons don't have raws that I can find, so....

Miasma isn't a material in the traditional sense of the term. My understanding is that it's a sort of hard-coded feature of the game, dating back to ye olde 2D. Toady has expressed intent to replace it with something more defined than "Those gallons of purple crap that flood out of everything dead", such as putrescine or cadaverine.

Niiiice. Maybe it's just a weird thing. What were the materials of the dead demons this time around? Any gas/flame ones? That might have been the problem.

Also, it might be a bug.
Steam demons a plenty, but that's about it. I also got a crash back when i poked a hole in it first time, which involved no cave-ins, so it's probably a bug somewhere. They were busy slaughtering my dorfs, when all of a sudden HURP DURP CRASH. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Dwarfs VS HFS. Also includes FB VS HFS.
I think it might have some information.

Seems like there's a lot of bugs/crashes involving demons. Probably involves randomized materials and such.

I think methane would work for it.

Sounds like a good idea, and less crashy too. And regarding that, i dug around in the gamelog, and the last lines were these:
Code: [Select]
The Cinders Brute slams into an obstacle!
The Cinders Brute's upper body takes the full force of the impact, breaking away the tissue!
Maybe the game doesn't react well to upper bodies breaking? I'm seeing the same pattern three times in the gamelog, possibly more.

Edit: OK, i think i may have stumbled upon a very specific bug here. Better go report it.

Possibly. Or the placeholder ones.

Speaking of the flame demons, didn't TolyK plan to make a weapon mod  with "flame"?
Yes.
The plasma rifles are going very badly. I'll need some help in the modding forum.

I thought of that. Wouldn't work.

The dwarves would either track in syndrome, or leave !!Unhappy!!

Wouldn't surprise me if it lit the user on fire. You might need to somehow prevent it from igniting on fire.
