Don't waste ammo in a long range shootout. Go down the opposite side of the building if there's stairs or ladders. If there isn't any, go down through the building instead.

You quickly get to the other side of the building and slide down a nearby pipe line. Two cops manage to get inside the ally you are in. They are getting ready to fire.

What do you do?

Turn around and go down through the building.

Keep running, hijack a car if need be.

You quickly go into the nearest building, dodging two bullets as they wiz by your head.

You enter a small hallway leading to an open area. It seems to be some kind of small mall of sorts going under remodeling. You quickly run past panicing workers who heard the gun shots and enter the streets as they cops come through the door you just came in through.

You run down a flight of short stairs and shoot the window of the first car you bump againist. You quickly see that the key isn't there, and the cops are far too close behind you to consider hotwiring it.

You look at your surroundings. To your right, there is a big city intersection, filled with panicing innocents due to your not all that wise choice of shooting the window. To your left, the path cuts off into two paths. The left path is lined with something that seems to be a railroad station... only without the station, and ends in a deadend. The right path is slightly elevated, and it lined with stores. At the end it veers off to the right.

Its very cloudy outside. Very few people are out. There are many "Support the War" and "Help Roel Maikel win for you!" posters around, some with graffiti.

You tract back into the mall, take out your Gun (SMG 1) and fire two quick five bullet brusts into each cop. The bullets fired at the first cop mostly miss, but two bullets find a mark in his head, and he is killed instantly, blood already coming from the wound. The cop gets to have all the bullets puncture his chest, almost causing his chest to pop open, and gore to fly everywhere. You get some blood on the blue eye side of your face (The only part of your face not covered by bandages).

You see another six cops coming though another door. What do you do?

Head in deeper, Hide inside. Wait until they start splitting up then hunt them down.
