For those wondering, it is a very fun game. It runs perfectly on my system and doesn't appear to be a port. The only negative I have to say is that there appears to be an issue if you are running an AMD cpu, but that a patch is on the way.

I paid $33 at one of the key sites and activated it on Steam, saving $16.

what site did you use? It's kinda hard to trust some of the ones I have seen.

I bought from CJS-cdkeys. I placed an order with the most reputable site, IntKeys first but after 9 hours I still didn't have my key and many others got theirs within an hour. A friend of mine buys all of hers from CJS and told me about their automated system. I got my key in 5-7 minutes.

if you do it the process works like this:
1) complete transaction
2) wait 5 minutes
3) go to the autokey tab on their page and enter the details of your purchase(price must be listed in GBP regardless of what currency you used)
4) add CDKey to your steam account.

since it's a region free title there is ZERO risk of anything bad happening by buying an SR3 key, as long as you use a reputable site.
The ones with good reps are GMG, Intkeys, CJS-Cdkeys, and one other one that I forget right now(sorry). Intkeys has a support livechat, but are unreliable in length of time to get the key, CJS is superfast but has an ugly site and not as much buzz. GMG is hit & miss with pricing.
