I know, and I wouldont like to see little quirks like mirror hopping disapear, Volitition can do good on physics. I mean, just look at Red Faction: Guerilla. They are adding a new car deformation system though, I saw it in a game informer.

It looked pretty promising too. It had a pic of like a tanker crushing a car with realistic deformation. It was pretty amazing.

This just got a hell of a lot more insane. In a good way, of course.

To paraphrase a technical director after seeing peoples positive giddy reactions to the craziness of the Deckers: "Just wait."

It's official, I cannot get any more excited for this game. Knowing Volition, I will soon be eating those words.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when you abandon any and all commitment to reality and do whatever is the most amusing in any given situation, independent of all other situations.

I was one of those guys that liked SR2 better than GTA4. I'm very pleased at the direction SR3 has taken. Not sure I can afford to get it, but I'm still excited to see all the videos and hear the crazy stories.

Same here. [rant] GTA4 sacrificed fun for "realism". [endrant]

Same here. I definatly derived much more fun from SR2 than GTA IV.  Remember how you had to hold A/X (on playstation)/some other key for pc to jog? Why would anybody like that? Hrm. Maybe it was necessary for the "Hyper Realistic running mechanics!". Saints Row just never did take its self too seriously, for the better I say. Heh, do you remember some of those insane cheats you could get in SR2? Like evil cars+can't die+low gravity=a laugh riot for me and my friends.

Yeah. It reminds me of GTA San Andreas. I managed to play the game with at least 2000 cheats used and it STILL was fun.

The thing about SR3 is that you don't need to use the cheats.

Please tell me I wasn't the one who made that strained "urrgghhhhh" sound of want when seeing the deckers trailer
