they buy them retail in regions where they are cheap. In some cases they may steal a truck I suspect, however, certain sites will give you a picture of the cdkey on the manual or box, as proof of ownership. The least reliable places will use stolen keys or generators. Most of the bad ones are gone now though.

Interesting.  Have Steam ever declared their policy on this?  I've got a little too much cash invested in my account to risk losing it.

Steam has in the past threatened the people using the Russian registration services(more than a year ago). These people were buying local Russian versions which then required the user to give their account details to the Russian service so they could be registered there. The biggest issue was Steam was trying to limit their own liability in the inevitable account theft cases. I have not been able to find a single source of an account being banned when using a region-free cdkey(as is the case with SR3). i don't know about other games. I did a TON of research to find out as I have a lot to lose

So, since no one has actually said anything about the game I will.

I played through the game co-op with another B12er. We spent about 13 hours playing through the whole game together.  There are a few obvious problems, but overall things are really, really fun. They cut back customization of cars/clothes down a notch from SR2, and the missions are a bit less varied, however I like the way this handled just the basic gameplay mechancis relative to the previous games. The interface is much slicker. Its a port, but the menus control just fine with the mouse (and it runs well too).

Bottom Line:
If you liked SR2, you'll love this one too. Its obviously a superior experience having a fried, but I played for a while solo and it was still a riot.

(Thanks a ton for the info about that site, by the way, Hemmingjay. We both used it to get our copy. Its legit.)

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

Yep, SR3 runs great. There was only one bug at launch, as far as I know. (You couldn't customize your gang without the game crashing). It probably runs smoothly with updates.
The only thing I don't like is that they removed clothes logos.

Like Calhoun said, missions are a bit less varied. They are much more wacky and unrealistic, however. In a good way.

Bloody love it. Nothing is more satisfying than rolling around town in a stolen STAG tank. Except also having someone use the Laser up top too XD, only ever died after a LONG while on max notoriety.

Also, the aftermaths of the final mission:

Oh right.  I should probably do that.

Unless you're talking about that second thing.  That's like not even ten minutes in.
