If we get 4 players per GM then I'd do something like Golden Sun. I think the franchise lends itself really nicely for a RTD.

We also kinda need to actually think up the game rules as well. We haven't really decided on anything yet.

quite a few topics being discussed. let me add more. how do people from other teams attack each other? who would roll for that and how?

what are the statistics going to be? that's a bit too simple. we should figure everything else out first.



If this RTD wars actually works, this will go down in history.

Also what I'm thinking is that each GM would also be a player that the Master GM's rolled for.

it goes like this: Master GM > GM > Player

The GMs can add that, however without respawn their players will be much, MUCH tougher.
also: this will be limited, i.e. you can't nuke the place 20 times in a row  :P

well yeah.
the basics:

6 parallel universes with their own kind of realities (they belong to 1 GM) and a master Arena.
The Key to Eternal Life or whatever (the MacGuffin) is scattered in many pieces through all the realities, and some parts are in the arena as well. Each team has its own attributes and such that the master GMs balance out (respawn is one of them). They will attempt to battle each other and find the pieces, uniting them in the end in one piece. Rolls on worlds will be done (fairly!) by lesser GMs, and rolls in the Arena (and when folks ask us to on worlds) the "God Mods" will roll.

I still say points of some sort for the GMs of minor miracles/magic/tech-aid would add an interesting element. Perhaps an income of them based on the number of MacGuffin parts owned?

I say yes, at least for most actions. It's too much work to hide them, and it's much easier for spectators this way.
