In my opinion we still need to work on the rules, but whatever. I think I'll be going for a 'world of espionage'. Spies, assassins, infiltration, car chases, shady government agencies and rogue operatives, etc etc. Not entirely sure yet, though.

EDIT: Alternatively, something with a more fantasy/steampunk angle, trying to find the MacGuffin's in a renaissance-period city ruled by an oppressive regime, with secret police and what have you after you.

How's this?

Theme: Master of Magic.

I am Tauron the Archmage. My specialties are artificer and conjurer. I am skilled in the schools of life magic and sorcery (metamagic/illusionmancy/aeromancy).

My empire spans an entire continent on Arcanus. The race in my capital city is high men (standard 'civilized' humans), while my eastern cities are halflings and the nomads of the southern desert swear fealty to me. City garrisons are largely made up of pikemen with a few archer squads each, with two mobile platoons of cavalry each led by a squad of paladins.

I suspect that two of my rival archwizards, Rjak of the insectoid klackon hordes and Sss'ra of the draconian legions have discovered ancient artifacts of overwhelming power. If they manage to discover the secrets, it could go poorly for me.

My ally, Lo Pan of the elves, is slowly losing ground to Rjak. I banished Kali years ago.

I have just finished casting a newly created spell, Summon Pack of Heroes. Heroes, I need your help. You won't go unrewarded.

I like the idea of only being able to travel to "adjacent" worlds, unless you travel through the central arena. It prevents the central arena from becoming a bottleneck, but still makes it useful for "cutting corners". I like the fate points idea, too.

Also, I propose perma-death should be in effect. Whenever a player dies, a new player rotates into that team and spawns somewhere in that team's home world. I think there should be seven MacGuffin pieces for each team, one in each area including their own. Players can't go to other worlds until they collect their own MacGuffin. This encourages GMs to avoid making their MacGuffin piece impossible to collect for other teams or too easy to collect for their own team.

Not exactely sure what im going to do yet, its either gonna be Steampunk, Cyberpunk, or a Zombie infested world.
