You step out into a room about as long as a small house. along the opposite wall, 18 steel doors are lined, in three rows, with small elevators allowing you to get to the upper levels. at one end of the room stands a box with a black glass cover like the one in the embarkation lobby, and at the other is a wooden door. Separating the steel doors is another door with a plinth beside it. You have little difficulty finding your room, the last one on the second row. you enter and find that.. What? This isn't a bedroom! This is a Mondrian painting!

The room is cubical, with 5 out of six sides plain white, and the last side is basically one big Mondrian painting, with about 50 squares, with some of them red, some yellow, and some blue, but mostly white.

The room is empty, apart from that jarring piece of abstract art. Pushing the squares only reveals that they can move about half a centimetre., no matter what colour. However, Your PET's control function shows that you can do several things:
  • Deploy Personal Maintenance Hub
  • Inflate Fully Recumbent Relaxation Device
  • Deploy Horizontally Mobile Storage Compartment
  • Raise Waste Removal Tank
  • Deploy Horizontal Worksurface
  • Operate Visual Entertainment Device

As you ponder this, the pleasant voice once again comes on the PA: "Congratulations, SuperGalacticTraveler! You may have already won a free upgrade to Second Class! Turn to channel 3, for details!"

You try to look at the Television that has emerged from the top corner of the wall, but to no avail. You cannot possibly crane your neck at that angle.

Unfortunately, you cannot force it to swivel. Clearly, whoever designed the SuperGalacticTraveller berths was out of his goddamn mind.
