Soltesz pulls up on the tab, and opens the energy drink.

Soltesz: "Oh."

Soltesz takes a sip of the energy drink, before spitting it out. He then carefully places the can on the floor.

After checking that he has his sickle and rifle, Soltesz steps up to the door. He looks at it, searching for a door handle. His gives a grunt of annoyance when he doesn't find one. He spend several minutes searching for a hidden latch, before finally giving the door a push. He jumps as it slowly swings away from him. Pushing the door further open, he peers into the room beyond. A dense, almost black mist limits his vision past a meter. Oddly, the mist remains in the room, instead of spilling out into the hallway. With trepidation, Soltesz slowly advances into the mist.

The handmaiden fires the blunderbuss at Soltesz's head!
The bullets are deflected by the XSE 900 Policing Armour.

Soltesz, gasping, falls onto the floor. Immediately, several handmaidens jump on him, pinning him down. Despite his struggles, they manage to strip him of his armour and weapons, before binding his hands behind his back.

Lady Andrea sequels with pleasure from deeper within the room.
