Johan screams and runs out of the alley, into the street.

A plank of mals. Currently being used as an impromptu club.

The street has a few people walking it, even in this early hour of the morning. It is covered with filth and garbage. Many homeless families are sleeping in the doorways that line the street. Several are sleeping in the street.

Johan jumps over a family as he runs out of the alleyway. He only stops running when he reaches the other side of the street.
