[38b] Dwarves attempting to drink from unfinished well.
« on: February 24, 2008, 04:27:00 pm »

With the loss of my last well do to flooding (who the hell pulled that lever anyway?! I didn't authorize it!) I decided it was to build a new one. But as my mason begins construction, a few dwarves attempt to use it. They quickly cancel with the announcement: "<dwarf> cancels Drink: no bucket at well."

They are correct, the well does not have a bucket. The reason for this is that it is not finished yet! They will continually attempt to drink from it, however, moving a few steps away and then immediately head back only to cancel the Drink job again (or just drink from a barrel of good ol' ale if one becomes available.)

Been around for a couple of versions now, I think Toady said he was going to fix it?  I don't remember.

Ah well, sorry for this.

This is Bug 483.  I should probably do it soon, since it's somewhat annoying.
