--Races of the Kingdom--These people are native inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom. They're not particularly attune to magic, but are very good with weaponry.
Human: Notably normal, but slightly more in tune to magic. Very tall and gangly compared to other races, on average. +1 to base values of all active weapon-based skills and spells. Gains the active abilities
Fireball I and
Power Strike.
Toad: Short, and squat. Highly trained soldiers of the Mushroom Kingdom Army. +1 to all weapon type attributes (Slashing, Piercing, Crushing). Gains the passive abilities
Thick skin and
Uncanny strength.
--Renegade races--These are people who have been transformed into intelligent monsters by Bowser's magic or other ways, but now fight for the Kingdom out of their own volition. All races start out with 5 MP as opposed to the 0 of the Kingdom-native races.
Goomba: A magic user with no arms. +1 to base values of all active skills, spells and abilities. Starts with the active spell
Crush I, and the passive ability
Backstep. Can't use weapons or actions requiring arms.
Koopa: A standard recruit of Bowser's army. They're turtle-type people who stand like a humanoid. They start with the active ability
Shell Cover, and the passive ability
Thick Shell I. Additionally, the Koopa comes in four colors, which are picked from the start:
-Green: +1 to Crushing damage.
-Red: +1 to Slashing damage.
-Yellow: +1 to Piercing damage.
-Blue: A rare, nearly extinct color. Gains the active ability
Blue Blast.
Bob-omb: An exploding, intelligent bomb. Has no arms. Can't use weapons. +2 to regular AV, because of being made entirely of metal. +1 to the base values of active and passive Fire element skills and spells. Gains the active ability
Explosion and the passive ability
Nevermelt Iron.
Boo: An extremely shy ghost. Can't use large weapons, but can use small ones. No regular attribute bonuses. Gains the active spell
Darkness I, and gains the passive abilities
Flying and
Chronic Shyness.
