Don't die on me you must LIVEEEEEE

I'm not dead, I've just been out of town, and my save is on my desktop. Should have everything wrapped up by Friday at the latest.

Out of Character...

Anyone have a suggestion for dealing with Fire Imps?

We have one that came out of the magma pipe and I'm not 100% sure how to get rid of it. Can you cage them in wood cages?

you could hae blocked the entrance of the magma pipe with a floodgate. magma flows in but no fire imps

what do postdwarvenists do with goblins?

Quote from: Andreus
We slaughter them by the thousands.
But... you know, we do it ironically.

That's a thought, I'm finishing up my year and I doubt I'll have a chance to do much with the magma sadly.

Diary of Iggy McNatz  16th Felsite 252.

Some of the smiths came running up from the newly built forge chambers today yelling about a "flaming beast of the apocalypse" I dispatched our rookie military to deal with the situation. Moments later the ruckus subsided. The "flaming beast of the apocalypse was laid low by one of the militia. It seems that the skulls of these beasts are fragile to say the least.

Diary of Iggy McNatz  18th Felsite 252.

Just as the smoke was beginning to clear the shot went up, an ambush. Our newly installed cage traps dealt with the ambushers in short order. I profess to find these goblins... annoying, but hardly deadly.

I spoke too soon, one of our recruits, in his haste ran paste our defenses and was shot by one of the invaders. I have ordered a field hospital to be set up and am attending to him personally. He may be foolish but he is brave.

Diary of Iggy McNatz  22nd Felsite 252.

A second ambush. We have two more wounded.

Lorbam Avuzmozib, our original wounded recruit, has died.

I have ordered him buried, and a memorial carved to his bravery.

OOC:

DF keeps crashing, and my framerate is abysmal. O'm holding around 14 FPS. It's playable, but it hurts. I'll get the save uploaded and whomever is next can finish out my year.

We still need bedrooms, a hospital, a decent military, some workshop organization, better defenses (the two ambushes rolled over the stone traps)

Good luck to whomever comes next!

Suggest we move onto the next one? Someone must be ready out there to blow some life into the smoldering ashesfortress.

so besides all the new content with our fort i would like to hear what you think about my idea for random placement and we might just have 2 going at once since this is so inactive just start fresh on another area and have people who are good for it only play so we have no more time wasting <--- just an idea
