More minerals = Less Flux?

How many others have noticed this when messing with the mineral settings?

Are flux stones not minerals? if so (as in, they don't count as minerals), then it would make sense, as there's less space for the flux stone to be.

do you mean inside the layer or how many layers total in the world?

Sorry... from my experiments due to the mineral occurrence setting thread I can't confirm this.... nor can I prove the opposite (but am inclined to bet against it)... but inorganics_stone_layers/soil and the other ones where 2 totally different changes in my experiments.
I can't nail it down - but once having a good side there are a few settings where you have flux with the full potential of shallow and deep minerals, then a few with flux and just shallow and or deep mineral (singular), etc. and many settings where you have no flux or either only flux and no minerals.... but they are AFAIE not correlated... exception maybe calcite wich is more or less ore type and not layer... just play with it.... and if you get a good basic biome diversity in layers, just go the next +-10 in single steps.... I can't nail it down, but deep in there is a pattern....

You're just really unlucky. I've genned multiple worlds on 500 (minerals setting) with a nearly world-wide layer of marble.

In order to improve the universe's frame rate, we must all throw rocks into volcanoes and then do absolutely nothing, worldwide, for a week, to take pressure off pathfinding.
or maybe throw them into the large hadron collider to atom-smash them instead.
Not to mention to throw all available animals into tiny pits.

Flux is just rare on high volcanism layers.
