This is Morrowind? Also, Morroblivion.

Spoiler: Morrowind 2011 (click to show/hide)
Not Morroblivion, but the mods for Morrowind that make the screenshot possible. It looks terrible to install, though.

Woah. That game's what, 9 years old now? How can it look that good? Now, I'd install it myself, but reading the guide on installing it makes it look to be as hard as installing FCOM, so I'll stick to Morroblivion, which just got updated, and its visual overhau (not released yet)l, which seems to look close to the same, if not better.

Well Morrowind was pretty much top of the line for it's time, akin to Crysis nowadays, one of the first games to use shaders i think, still looks kickass even if the visual style itself was pretty abysmal (but that seems to improve with that mod of yours, it always needed more green things)

The first one is a total eyegasm. The second, while spectacular as well, has Oblivion's annoying shininess.

Both make me want to reinstall(after completely uninstalling it and its mods until they are dead) Morrowind.

The Morrobilivion screenshots really demonstrates the crappy tiling and textures of Morrowind.  It's awesome to see that much at once in detail, but the ground looks like it was assembled in GameMaker.

I usually make a tile for wear/damage/clutter and randomly lay it over artificial surfaces. Enough underbrush can at least hide the natural ones.

Is it Morrowind 2011? The first several Google entries show it being killed by Bethesda and the overall modding community for plagiarism

You can still find Morrowind 2011, but at a second look I don't think that that picture is one of it, the bricks on the lighthouse are different.

Yeah, though the visual overhaul seems to make it look fantastic. Will get around to installing it.

Sounds buggy? Crash bugs that won't go away unless you reset cells?

What advantages are there to playing Morroblivion instead of Morrowind? Does it support Morrowind mods?

So, Ive spent the better part of a couple of hours downloading and installing mods, didnt even get the static ones (section 6 I think) and wow, it looks amazing. I am still in process of tweaking some settings cause my computer cant really handle it maxed out. :(

I don't think crashes are a problem using MGE, to my knowledge it doesn't really run in Morrowind, but over it. That's how it adds the dynamic lighting.
As for Morroblivion, last time I checked it was missing many creatures and all the quests.

That changed today. See http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/753

It sounds fairly complete, aside from Bloodmoon/Tribunal quest support and bugfixes.
