Aha, that's why I don't want to do it. I'd feel obliged to just, you know, act bisexual the whole time when acting bisexual isn't actually me.

And how the hell do you act gay anyway? Camp? That's one of the stupidest misconceptions I can possibly think of.
Huh. I'm fine with gays as long as they're men, like my cousin, as in they don't go for all the hair styling and stuff.
Which isn't to say I'm against camp. Congratulations! You are a homophobe. You don't get to pick and choose, you can accept them or not.

I'm fine with the hair styling and stuff, even if they are not gay. It's nice to look nice.

Although I don't personally go into the 'punk' spectrum, what with unnaturaly coloured dyed hair, and earnings, it still isn't something I object to.

Meh. I'm fine as long as they don't go all out, like the high heels I saw a guy wearing once. I like it when everyone just blends. It makes less conflict and less hate, man.

Punk is fine with me.

Earnings don't seem very punk to me, what with working for the Man and all.

My comment stands. You are spreading the conflict and hate with that opinion. Irony is not a pleasant woman.

I'm not quite sure what to say here.  Somebody?  G-Flex?  Anyone?

*sigh*

So, what is a woman?  What is a man?  If a woman doesn't go in for hair styling and stuff, does that make her no longer a woman?  If she remains a woman, then why can't a man remain a man despite his interest in fashion and so on?

I like it when everyone just blends. It makes less conflict and less hate, man.

Except for the subjugated parties.

Quote from: Langston Hughes
What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

"Or does it explode?" is an awesome poetry line.

Oppression is the price of happy society. You want to be free from oppression? Go somewhere far away from the people who want less conflict in the world.

Yes, "Teh gheys are oppressed, deal with it" is absolutely a valid argument and not a stalling tactic whilst you think up something valid to say. Not at all.

And anything that fails to conform to the binary.  Yup.

Is there somewhere like that, for a person like me?  Why don't you tell me, huh?  Don't ship me off somewhere that doesn't exist, man, I want a geographical location so that I can go die and suffer in wherever this conflict-ridden gay paradise happens to be.

Man, wasn't San Francisco in the middle of, what, its 9th civil war now?  Those gays.  Real violent, despite their pansy ways.

At the age of sixteen, I wouldn't expect many to be past the stage of believing there is an ideal stereotype of a man that any boy is expected to for fill, and anything less is a sub par, or 'soft'. In the world of many a testosterone driven boy, 'masculine' is the most admirable trait.

To the out-of-context thread (unless someone beat me to it)!
