I have a fairly pronounced stutter sometimes that would make something like this difficult without stupid amounts of practice >_>

Everybody stutters one way or the other, so check out my message to you.  As a matter of fact, don't let nothing hold you back.  If the Scatman can do it, brother, so you can you.

Sorry...  The setup was too good.

I can't, but I've never tried.  I have a fairly pronounced stutter sometimes that would make something like this difficult without stupid amounts of practice >_>

On the other hand, listening to it is pretty amazing :D  And I really don't have much else to do while waiting for the bus...
Apparently the guy in the video started out with a severe stutter. From the summary paragraph of his wikipedia article:
Quote
A stutterer, John liked to say scatting was a process of "turning my biggest problem into my biggest asset". Scatman John sold millions of recordings worldwide and was named "Best New Artist" in the Echo Awards in both Japan and Germany. He was a recipient of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Annie Glenn Award for outstanding service to the stuttering community and National Stuttering Association Hall of Fame.

So apparently stuttering is a plus for scatting?

Slightly, since I imagine every poster as their avatar.

You were imagining Vector as a pair of stuttering cherries?

anyway, on the topic of John Scatman, becoming a world-famous singer at 52 is pretty impressive...

So Megaman is Megaman, and I get to sit on the moon. Sounds reasonable.
