Heh, back at my uni we developed 4D tic tac toe a few years back. We usually have a game up on the whiteboard at any given time. It plays best with about 4 or 5 people.

You can win by getting a line inside any single grid, in the same spot in any three consecutive grids (ie top left, top middle, top right, but NOT top left, top right, middle middle) or in consecutive spots in consecutive grids.

After the second round, the game really degenerates into blocking moves; its sort of self balancing - the person who betrays the rest of the players won't win, but they generally get second or third out of five or six players. So, you can trade the possibility of coming first for a guarentee of not coming last.

Yeah, this time.
But it's infinite.
If I wanted to, I could extend the grid out to a width of 100 times the current one and play all the way over there.
