Derm scoffs at this humanoid.
I really don't care what you do, human. All I need is to get back to the imperial fleet and Alpha Strike this pitiful world. Perhaps by the time I get back, we'll have perfected the technology to explode your sun.

Derm smirks.
Ah, then I probably shouldn't mention the Null Driver, should I? As a person of extreme importance, I was able to catch a glimpse of a heavily redacted transcript of the only test ever performed.
Derm leans in closer.
I have a feeling that should you find out what it is, you would be furious. We were lucky it only affected one spherical megaparsec centered on the furthest research colony we had, in the deep void of another galaxy. I am not exaggerating that distance. Next time, who knows? I'm not in charge of it. Could happen in the next thirty seconds as far as I know.

Raise an eyebrow... somehow.

Hey, I remember seeing some spell that supposedly unravels the universe once. Shame I didn't manage to get ahold of the damn scroll, that shit could have been fun.
Well, in any case, what, exactly, are we meant to correct over there? Or are we just expected to murder everyone in sight until someone tells us?

"I really think you don't know just who you are talking to Assassin. I am the master here, not you. I ripped you out of your plane and froze it. Right now you are in a place that exists outside of time and space. I could crush you entire race with a gesture. I am not scared of you. Oh that spell. Its an urban legend. Well to correct the problem you must defeat the leader of the Forces. It is mad for power and is trying to escape the boundries of its plane and into others. I cannot allow that."

And to do that... you're having other people cross the boundaries of the planes and into other dimensions.

I think we may have a bit of a hypocrite here. But really, I don't mind it. So our job is to blow the ever-loving shit out of this 'Leader' guy? Alright, I'm game.

"Well I can't interfere directly unless the situation calls for it. He has not yet reached the level of power neccesary to warrent me "reseting" the plane. Think of it as a contract kill. Do your job well and I won't have to erase you."

Derm grins in triumph.
Ah, so you can't interfere directly unless the situation calls for it eh? Right now you can't kill me or my race. The situation, in your own words, does not call for it, and you can't without resetting the entire thing, presumably causing you trouble and work. If you could do otherwise, you would not need our help in the first place. You have less power than you think you do, even while being what you claim is semi-omnipotent. You could, but you can't, not without our or other 'mere mortals' help. Unless you are a hypocrite or a liar, which wouldn't surprise me.
He glares.
Let it be known that I don't like anyone who thinks he can order me around, barring superiors in the Komato army. But mostly I would love to see you get taken down a peg you smug prick. Get us to where we need to go, tell us of our objectives, and say nothing else(OOC:Get on with it!). I'll take on your little mission.
Derm pauses.
Though I do hope this place is more... coherent and sane.

"Fine. Begone."

You suddenly hear hundreds of voices all talking at once. Gunshots echo in the distance. You seem to be in some sort of alleyway.

Walljump to the top of the left building and look over the surrounding area.

Eyes derm for a moment, noting the insanity, before floating upwards to see what sort of buildings are forming this little alley.

Turn 2:

Walljump to the top of the left building and look over the surrounding area.

5
After judging the distance you leap into the air and land on the roof. Huh, guess you have stronger legs than you thought. You look towards the source of the gunshots and see some sort of battle developing.

Eyes derm for a moment, noting the insanity, before floating upwards to see what sort of buildings are forming this little alley.

4
You float upwards and find that the buildings making the alley are some sort of warehouse.

Ready laser rifle and look around. What do I see?[/b/]

2
You ready your lazer rifle, and promptly drop it. The rifle disharges into the wall.
Damage 2
Luckily the shot just chips the bricks a little.

The sounds of battle are getting closer. Poeple start running by the alley entrance.

OCC: Everyone is welcome to join. Just post actions in bold.

('s pretty normal for a Komato Assassin, actually. I would be getting +1's to agility rolls if there were stats like that.)

Observe the relative state of the battle. How many combatants, their relative deadliness, that sort of thing.
