Did I just hear an explosion? Well, that's irritating.
Get this train started and search the area of the explosion with my buddy Action Lamp.

If only I was a Croakamancer, I could uncroak your torso as my loyal servant.
Actually, nevermind. You'd just fall apart in a few turns anyway.

Well, there is the Book...

Can you be more than one type of 'mancer? I don't remember anyone saying you couldn't.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Hmmm. This is rather disconcerting. If it feels I can do so safely, I will approach the bridge again, with intent to recover wounded. I might circle around to find a more stable location, as needed.

Any 'mancer can cast any magic (with varying levels of skill) if they have a scroll, but they can only spontaniously cast within their school. For example, a Dittomancer would be able to use Healomancy scrolls to restore hitpoints, but only an actual Healomancer would be able to expend their own Juice to heal units without any preparation.

Or at least, that's what I understand from the comic's quasi-explanations.

And how are scrolls made?

A 'mancer expends Juice to make a scroll of they're own school. The reason other 'mancers have various scrolls in the comic is because Barbarian 'mancers sell their scrolls for money, which are then bought by a Side or other barbarians.

Of course, you're the GM and whatever rules you say goes.

Hmm. I'm trying to think of a solution too.

Well, Rags can probably cast White Magic if he really puts his mind to it.

Just wondering could every one in this world learn some sort of magic?

Yeah, probably. It'd probably take years, or at least weeks of study to be able to cast anything though, especially a spell powerful enough to re-make someone's torso.

If worst comes to worst, you could always take his upper half to LB.

Is there a waiting list for this? If so, I'd like to jump on it as a Reality Hacker.

J/K.

I think I can have you show up at the next train station. Of course, the way things are going, the chance of getting to the station are pretty much nil.

Awesome. I can do a fun little intro, if you like.

I'll be a Brotherhood Outcast, armed with an AER9 and an AEP7.
