You walk up to the folks and ask if there's anything that needs doing.

"Actually, yes," Thomas' driver says. "Thomas' fireman ODed yesterday and we ran out of LNG on the way here, so I've got to handle the shovelwork myself. You could all ride along to the center of the island, they're building some big special secret project near the sheds, that's where all these crates are going."

Fuzzy:

Figuring everyone's going to board the train, you jump up into a boxcar and curl up on a crate.

Kisame:

No wood.

Choo:

You board the blue locomotive.

Japa: 2

You fly around in circles. Weeeeeesh!

Frelock:

You also get aboard the locomotive.

Text:

Choobakka and Toly begin shoveling coal into the firebox, and the blue engine begins puffing away towards his destination.

A few minutes into the journey, you hear gunshots. "Get down," the driver yells. He grabs a shotgun from a support under the side of the locomotive cabin. "Keep shoveling," he says.

Roll to aim: 3

The driver fires a shot over the side of the cabin. "There's four of them with assault rifles, I think I just hit one."

Roll to aim: 5

You hear a louder gunshot, and the driver's head suddenly explodes. "Hey, what's going on back there?" Thomas yells.

You notice the party is being fired at. No one shoots at your pals who you met about two or three hours ago and you don't really know!

You dive-bomb the sniper at seventy miles per hour. He never sees what hit him. You break your arm on the ground beneath him. You're also covered in gibs now.

Choo:

You point your sh00tgun over the side and blast at the folks who are shooting you.

Roll to aim: 3

You manage to barely hit one of the assailants with three rounds of buckshot. God, this thing has ludicrous recoil.

Kisame: 1

You poke your head out of the boxcar you're riding in with Fuzzy and take a 7.62 to the shoulder. You duck back in. It hurts a bit, but considering how many times you've been shot by skeletons and blown up by creepers, it really isn't that bad.

Fuzzy is still asleep. A deep sleeper, he is.

Action Lamp:

Roll to aim: 5

Action Lamp ventilates one of the gunmen's head with his laxxor beam.

Ragnarok: 2

Ragnarok zaps himself unconscious. Dumbass.

Frelock:

Roll to aim: 6

Frelock explodes the remaining gunman with his Nano-EAGLE. Yay, giblets!

The brakeman waves from the back of the train, holding a RA6 in one hand. "Oi! What the 'ell just hap'ned up there?"

I really miss the way things were done in Netland III. That was a lot more fun.
