Make a note to try to ask one of the more tech-savvy members to help me out with that later. For now, just train my magic skills.

Hell if I know.  Currency'll probably be useless once we leave this world so gold is out.  Magic seems to be pretty big here so got any enchanted items that could help us?  Give us some magical items or some sort of enhancements and we'll be happy, accept the job, and be better able to complete it.  No downsides.
