I recently listened to the DF podcast, and then I stumbled across this:

They're definitely adorable, but I can't help but wonder why this website exists. Is it some kind of tie-in to those commercials they linked?

Also, I wonder how many different clips they have for the giraffe-cam.

I get a blast from asking kids what a giraffe sounds like at work, especially if they're annoying their parents.  I haven't yet had a kid that kept on being a nuisance after being thoroughly baffled.

They sure are cute, though.  The giraffes, I mean.


And...  huh?  Mountains?

This isn't even really a live feed. It just plays a clip of him looking around whenever the page is loaded up, then stays static.

A few minutes ago, it was morning on there and the giraffe wasn't there. Now, it's night time and the giraffe is asleep. They're obviously operating this cam on a different plane of existence.

Night time is kinda creepy. Every time I go on there, the giraffe looks off in a direction, then goes back to sleep. Every. Time.

There couldn't possibly be a live feed, since the giraffe is CG.

If you watch the nighttime one, his side facing the camera glitches just after he lays his head down.
