Tam was sitting at the fallout shelter's table, waiting for Mick to come. The madness that struck the others had not reached them, and Tam was in love with Mick from the start. They watched as their world collapsed around them, as the apocalypse happened and what could have been the last of humanity go insane, and they huddled together and tried to ignore it.

Tam was tired of waiting for Mick. He was never this late. She decided she must look for him.

As she passed the medical bay, the screams of the insane people chilled her to the bone. There were so many mad that they had to put them all in one room so that they didn't start killing people. Tam never liked passing the medical bay, but there was no other way to get to the bedrooms, so she had to do it.

She went into Mick's room, and almost threw up when she saw what happened.

Blood, vomit, piss and shit stained the room. Mick's body was hung on the wall, an obvious suicide.

That was it.

Humanity was done.

No hope. Nothing left but to die.

She fell to her knees and sobbed her eyes out.  She couldn't take this anymore. Tam's only friend, only love, died in a room covered in shit and blood. This wasn't how it was supposed to end. This wasn't how humanity deserved to end.

Suddenly, the computer started up with the Main Computer controlling it.

"Congratulations! You have passed the experiment! 100% approval rating! Well done! Now, how would you rate this current experiment?" The computer's singalong voice revealed something terrible. This was a fucking test? What? Who would be fucked up enough to actually do this to people? To drive them to brink of madness and to fuck with their heads? For what? What?

"You...You...You did this. Why?" She asked, choking back tears of anger and rage and despair.

"It was a test given by those good ol' folks back at SurvivalCom! Turns out, you are a very lucky lady, and you get the grand prize of a free car!" The computer sung the words, almost.  Tam couldn't take it. She past the medical bay, past the food hall, into the Survival area. There, she took five rations, a gun and a survival suit. She put on the suit and loaded the gun.

"What are you doing? I thought you wanted to enjoy your grand prize!" A computer nearby turned on, and it chirped out more madness.

"Open the steel doors, computer. And no bullshit, please. You can take your grand prize back." Tam walked to the steel doors, and waited for them to open.

Oh dear. Shall we open the doors for Tam, even though we were meant to keep them closed forever?

Don't open the doors. Vent poison gas into the room she's in to slowly but surely kill her.

Open the doors, but send along a tough, general purpose, all-terrain reconnosiance scout drone to chronicle her adventures and annoy her.

The computer seemed to be considering for a moment.

Then, the doors opened.

Light flooded the room, and Tam stepped into the light.

Well done!

Right, here is what we can do next round:

* Butcher as many people for food before the computer gets caught.
* Keep the power, air and water going for as long as possible before it goes out.
* Make everyone go insane using only mass actions.

Wait a few moments to give her a false hope that she has escaped from our clutches, and then send the aforementioned drone after her. And check out the conditions outside.

Open the doors to the outside immediately and send out drones to establish outposts and then eventually gain control of the entire planet?

Done!

You are SheperdNet Survival-Computer 223. You have 10 subjects left to kill. Who shall die first?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Rules:

1: Instead of driving everyone mad, your goal is to try and make as much food as possible. However, the only thing in the shelter is humans, so...
2: You don't have acsess to holograms, or anything used to make people go insane. You can use bots and computers.
3: You have to maintain the shelter this time, but everyone is trained in maintaining shelter tech so it's all good. But, every time you kill somebody maintenance goes down 10%. You can improve maintenance to 100% for two turns, but this is a one time deal and you can't do it again. Sometimes, something goes wrong and maintenance just goes down 5%.
4: To murder people, you either have to kill them in a comfortable situation (Has a chance of not killing them, alerts no-one.) or in their bed (100% chance of killing them, makes suspicion for everyone go up 10%.)
5: If you don't kill someone by accident, or they get too suspicious, they will become a rebel, and they won't contribute to maintaining the shelter. This means it goes down 10%.
6: Sometimes, people spot murders while they are being done in comfortable situations. This means they become more suspicious.
7: You can make certain people less suspicious by doing non-suspicious activities. These take a turn, though, and the clock is ticking...

Lure Sam into the toilet after a party. Make him get gassed with sleeping gas and place his head into the toilet so he drowns. After that, take him into a hidden or restricted room and cut him into cooked pieces.

It went well until the drowning part. He woke up at that moment. Turns out, it wasn't strong sleeping gas.

Kill him in his bed. We can't have him too suspicious.
