Give it time. Everything up to and including college is a huge borefest, but it's designed to get you to be a student, the only skill that will benefit you for the rest of your life. You will have plenty of time to burn at the moment, and no one is really expecting you to save the world at 13, so just enjoy being a kid and having free time. If you really want, research subjects on your own, take AP classes, and all that jazz, but don't overdo it. Teach yourself a new foreign/programming language, read some books. If you want to make something, books are great for ideas, and programmers are all the rage these days. Hell, go ahead and make your own game, or mod Dwarf Fortress some.

Or just play your game of choice; there are plenty I grew up playing that are worth it (see: Sega Genesis/CD/Saturn, N64, etc). Look up the classics, and see WHY they are classics.

The fun part is when you get to learn about girls. Heh.

But seriously, you have a lot to look forward to. Just don't burn out trying to save the world.

Yes, chill indeed.

One cannot "waste" a life. Once you're dead and buried, it doesn't matter to you whether you were a stunt-driver that got all the chicks or the guy who lived in his mothers basement.

It's just a matter of attitude. Looking back in regret is just wasting the present. There is no position where you wouldn't be able to think "I wish this and that had gone like that and this"
