Zepave Dawnhogs the Butterfly of Vales the Marsh Titan ... was taken out by a single novice axedwarf and his pet war kitten. Long Live Domas Etasastesh Adilloram, slayer of the snow butterfly!
Doesn't quite have the ring of heroics to it...
Mother: "...and after the evil snow butterfly was defeated, Domas and his kitten lived happily ever after!"
Kids: "Yaaaay!"

Burning and raping the land is recreational. Where business is concerned, though, sustainability is the name of the game.

They can be terrifying with their deadly dusts. That specific attack variant produces a cave-in like effect for anything caught in the dust. It can be a fort-ender if the beast itself is immune to it's own attack (and it does affect the user, actually) :P

And don't you love it when multiple hostiles seem to converge on you at the SAME TIME? It's just so entertaining...

Looks like you may want to cause a cave-in on top of the cave-in creature. Easiest way of killing a FB like that. I suppose marksdwarves behind fortifications would work, too.

Dust, smoke, and mist all travel through fortifications.

One of the dwarfs walked in front of Thor to get a better view of the prye, and Thor kicked him irritably into the middle of the flames, which made Thor feel slightly better and made all the dwarfs feel much worse.
