No, the games aren't canon. We're just starting over.

AI size? Like in.. Megabytes? or actual size?

Just large or small. Big AIs are better at doing things like running ships and beating up other AIs, but small AIs are better at infiltration and can run on weaker hardware.

The first thing you notice is that it's very dark.
The second thing you notice is the corpse slumped over on the nearby control panel. Underneath it is a small pool of glowing bright green blood which is boiling away.
The control panel is labeled in some strange sort of barcode-like language. There are a significant number of displays and buttons. The displays are all blank, and only a few lights are on on the console.

You explore all you can by the light of the radioluminescent lamp, which isn't far at all. You appear to be in some sort of cargo hold. You find a set of stairs going down, lit by another small tritium light. Engineering itself, however, is completely dark.

You probe the hardware you're running on. It identifies itself in a language you can't understand, but you can see that it has plenty of processing power and storage. You also have access to a small camera and microphone, a speaker, and a network interface which is not hooked up to anything.

You find yourself in a cylinder with a glass front. It is cold.

The glass part slides away and you step out. It's very hard to see anything. Your pockets are empty.

You look around Big Bill's Droids. You can hear sounds coming from the back of the store, seems Big Bill is sampling his own merchandice. You briefly wonder whether or not that's legal.

You yourself are chained to a sales rack by a magnetic clamp.

You search the corpse. It is holding some sort of weapon with an ammo indicator on the side reading that the clip is half-full, and in one of his pockets is a flourecent orange box with a female plug on the end.

You find things that are moving, but fail to annoy them in any meaningful capacity.

You have no idea what you were doing in a cold glass cylinder. In fact, you have no idea who you are. No one else around here seems to know either.

Ultimuh:

You poke around the inside of your computer module. Unforunately, its responses to queries are all in a language you can't understand. The box is very secure though, you're running on a VM and being denied access to any but the most high-level basic drivers. You can't control anything directly, you're always going through layers of abstraction and virtualization.
