Voltaire has been mentioned, in my list of bands. And hey, I got a 3:31 video to load fully.

EDIT: I like Kataklysm. Die Apokalyptischen Reiter are pretty good. Not liking Fear Factory or Edge of Spirit. Quite like Godsmack. Reminds me of Disturbed.

Ahhh, I must have zoned out near the end when i saw Tool.  After all, everybody should like Tool...

Still, if nothing else, those links may be useful for somebody else, every thread like this I think eventually becomes a dumping ground of stuff and used by a lot of people to find something new.

Keep of Kalessin is okay, but not really something I'd listen to much.

Eh, I'm just dropping feedback as I go down the list. So far, Nevermore's looking pretty good. Sabaton are interesting, I think I'll listen to more of them. Droid and Medicated are both fairly meh. I've heard that Deadly Sinners song somewhere and recall not being able to take it seriously then too. Immortal Souls and Soilwork don't really appeal to me, but Mors Principium Est is pretty good. Quite like Diablo. Bloc Party is a no, but Soil's interesting. I'll listen to some more of them. I like Equilibrium, there's a high degree of epic in there. Man, I haven't listened to Louis Armstrong for years. Like, more than a decade.

Though I do listen to metal, I'm not that well-versed in that genre unfortunately.

I'll reiterate on the Korpiklaani suggestion, but that's pretty much it.

As for other stuff, VNV Nation and The Decemberists off the top of my head.

It's not metal but i fully recommend Tin Hat (Trio) and take full responsibility if your head explodes from awesome. As to what they are, well i'm not sure, i can't really describe it or place it in a certain genre, but there is just something about their songs, how easily they take me to certain places, these warm sunlit steampunkish victorian cities, full of brown washed out colors and the smell of smoke and dirt, simply amazing :)
Black Moth Super Rainbow is also very hard to classify, very very experimental and trippy, works like an excelent brain massage, completley relaxing me, then again it might just freak you out but i think it's worth the shot :)
And for some real metal i suggest you try outPowerglove who do instrumental covers of old 8 themes, very awesome and quite energetic with quite a few melodic pieces that are just ear bursting kickass in audio form, like this one (warning, may contain unsafe amounts of WIN!).Also i'm not sure if their two latest albums are out yet but they will be covers of 90's saturday morning cartoon themes :D

And to jack the thread a bit, i'm looking for something similar to this.

EDIT:
Also remembered, if you want some wierd-ish metal Weedeater is a pretty good sludge metal band, altough most of their vocals aren't clean as in that song, example.

You got Demons and Wizards and Blind Guardian on there, so I'll assume you just forgot the mention Iced Earth.

Besides them, I recently came upon Masterplan, a band that very few people ever seem to mention. Another band suffering the same problem would be Edguy.
Judging from your list you may or may not like Samael. Their old works are death metal (with appropriate production quality it seems) and their more recent works are somewhat progressive/industrial, like the one I linked to. Their most recent album harks back to their roots (which is a shame if you ask me). They have a lot of esoteric influences though, so that may be a turnoff if you're keen on the lyrics and really down-to-earth.
There's also Amorphis. They tend to get repetitive after a while but they're good for a fix now and then.

On the topic of non-metal bands, I'd first like to suggest Abney Park and Vernian Process, two indie steampunk bands.
Besides them, I'm also pretty partial towards some 80's bands, primarely Duran Duran (for the record, I have absolutely no clue about what's happening in that video) and the Dire Straits. Oh and I'm forgetting Toto and Bon Jovi here.

Oh god, Duran Duran. That's all I'm saying on that.

Dire Straits, I find hit and miss. Although, I've only listened to two of their songs. Yes, they were both on Guitar Hero. Van Halen I've heard some of (fuck you, intro to Hot for Teacher >_>), Led Zepplin's mostly miss with some hit, GnR are miss, Black Sabbath's mostly hit, Nirvana's hit and miss. I'm geeky enough to know about Powerglove already.

Whelp, I'm completely forgetting to mention Delain, Tarot (hot beard on guitar action anyone?), Sevendust (Rasta metal, maaan), Clawfinger (and the nomination of so bad it's hilarious, in the field of music videos, goes to....) and Rob Zombie (with him as the runner up). Also it's annoying to try and provide hotlinks for all these bands when every time you load a video you want to listen to it...

Okay, got as far as the bottom of white_darkness's list, but it's late so I'll continue tomorrow. Feel free to inundate me with links overnight so I spent all the time I should be working catching up.

Okay, so you've got CROW'SCLAW on there (my fault, if I remember correctly), and since I don't know any other FF or TM arrangers, have some more Touhou stuff.

Oingo Boingo definitely deserve a listen. Dead Man's Party, Insanity, Stay and No Spill Blood are some of my favourites, although I'm somewhat limited by what I can find on youtube.

Otherwise, Daft Punk (Harder Better Faster Stronger, Derezzed and possibly Robot Rock), Genesis (early era, with Peter Gabriel rather than Phil Collins. Although Land of Confusion's a damn good song. Damnit Phil.), VNV Nation (Further, Legion, Chrome and Genesis are the ones I go back to), Eurythmics (Missionary Man, Sweet Dreams), Beautiful South (Mirror, Little Blue, Don't marry her and Rotterdam) and lastly, This
