What is your opinion of Anonymous and their work?

I'm all for them and fully support their work
I support their cause, but dislike the methods used
Unsure / don't really care
I think they're just a bunch of bored kids
I'm against both their methods and cause
I think they're criminals / terrorists
Who?  (lol)

Anonymous make us look bad. I've had to defend my going on forums to people, because they think we're all part of Anonymous. And some of the shit they do? Forget it, they're sociopaths.

I love misinformed people, they are so much fun. Just throw out some jargon, it doesn't even need to make sense, and they feed on your every word.

Sometimes ignorance is not knowing when someone understands something better than you.

I've always found it best to forgive people for honest ignorance because I'd hope they'd do the same for me. It can be really annoying though.

Sometimes you can't stay out of the way, but rather have to trust people. I doubt at your age you understand how transistors go together to form a computer, yet you still use your computer.

The problem with ignorance is when people with knowledge on a subject misrepresent what they know. So, for example, saying that everybody on forums is a cyber terrorrist, or that all downloads are illegal, is a lie, and these lies lead to ignorant people doing dumb things.

What? As I said before, Anonymous is not limited to this /i/ b-shit. Most of anonymous are *channers who don't care about this activism/raids at all, and this *chan population was 'Anonymous' long before /i/ began to exist.

You seem to be confusing Anonymous, the collection of bored kids, with anonymous posters. As, in the link you posted (but seriously, linking to ED to support your claim?), particularly the first two:

PROTIP: Do not confuse Anonymous with:
User:Anonymous or
Some random anonymous p****
Mr. Legion, or
Anne Onymous, or
Androgynous, or
Cheese1997, or
Paul Carnes or
4chan, or
W, or
/b/
But anyways, arguing with the trolls, so I'm out.

youd be surprised or ED can be usefull once you get past all the mom jokes and all. They take the schreencaps and info somewhat more seriously, and they have more knowledge in internet culture than most old medias.

First of all, I'm curious whats the difference now. So /b/ is suddenly NOT 'collection of bored kids' anymore?
Second, I don't know where did you get the idea that you have to have some 'agenda' or do some stupid activism in order to be part of hivemind. Most of anonymous just fap to porn all day long, and it was this way since 'Anonymous' was born, thats why I've said its silly to ask whether someone 'supports' them or not.
You can support or not support actions of jewlion, januszeal, Picatta, inky, tycho, kirt and their goons, but noone ever authorized them to act in the name of Anonymous (and noone could, as there is no hierarchy or order). Moreover, since they have public identities, its quite questionable whether they can be considered to be anonymous at all.

ED was one of the first resources to provide information on anonymous for anonymous by anonymous. On this particular subject, they are as accurate, as you can get anywhere at all, you just need to separate lulz from facts.

Yeah, and it includes 'legion' in the list of 'what is not anonymous'. What it does mean is that 'Anonymous' is bigger and more complex than any of its parts. /b/ is part of it. /i/ is part of it. But neither IS the anonymous itself.

Generally, it is good form to put a nsfw warning when linking to ED. Even if that page is fine, like all wikis it has too much cross linking to have a safe area.

I believe there is a website made to be like ED but safe for work. Maybe link to that instead if you want to use ED but not a nsfw warning.
