If we go at this wrong, we all get burned out by the OE. We need more tech and more troops. Think on the order of 5-6x my current army strength in terms of raw power, and we might be coming close.

What we need to do, is use the mercs to scout them so we know what we are getting into. Or even better, flood the OE with spies.

I got it we could begin all paying CG 500 a turn to scout out the OE, and attack them where he can do the most damage sinc ehe isnt blocked by borders he cna get in the heart of the OE, and cripple it ( I believe the OE can recruti more men, and build more buildings if we destroy them )

Eh, he can not do anything to truly hurt them. And that would be 5000 pounds a turn adwarf, don't over pay the man.

Western Owldale is important to me.

If you feel the need to take it, Phantom, fair warning-whatever meager armies I have are marching into it, moving my capital there and  founding my religion there the turn after that, so you'll want to save it for last.

Of course, by then you will have given it to me freely, and there will be no need to fight. :)

On the subject of the Old Empire- In theory, they would only be indivually strong as Petris, which I'll be going after soon, but I'm guessing it's an EMPIRE. That will work together to defeat us. We'll need like a crazy worldwide tandem attack from all sides. And they will have all the techs too-magic spells, steampunk units, crazy summons, full weaponsmithing, the works.

Thats actually within Phase 4 or 5 of my long term plan Phantom. I've got such a goddamn list of shit needs doing. Why don't you leave the heavy lifting, Sorcery wise, to me? I'll cut you in on anything you like if you help cover the research costs after the fact.

Yeah the OE is gonna be beast. We can manage it though, In time. Lets clear out the neutral territories first, get a good set of tech together, then beat em up together. As one.

Dude, I don't want to be stuck on the conventional combat tree. I'm soon gonna have enough fund to advance research enough to get that tech. And hell, I only want the Mind and Time affecting parts of Sorcery.

I'm in for it, If only because the OE contains bits of Stry and Pomford. And those are within the "Lands I want to conquer" list.

I can hook you up with the baseline Sorc tech. I'll just have you owe me a spell from the tree later on, Sound reasonable?
