I agree that it should affect your income. You should have a choice between making reasources unobtainable to your enemy or extra money.

But if they are your enemy, you wouldn't be trading with them in the first place.

I don't know why you wouldn't just cancel the trade route. The option should be available, of course, though it would obviously hurt your trade profits.

Well, some people might not want to give up their monopoly on an advantageous resource, like iron or horses.
