I figure from my perspective, either Phantom steamrolls me with lolhorsemen or JohnFalcon and I go to war to the deafening cheers of the rest of the nations, since it seems nobody likes him+he's sort of a warmonger, and I'm totally new.

I am not a warmonger.

I have said in the past I will be a defencive power-house who seeks to trade with everyone, and wants to stay neutral in most conflicts.

Why do you think I am a warmonger?
