Whoops. Read your post wrong.

Yeah. What with that?

Part of Stry for sure, but what part?

(Stry? What? Did they run out of vowels?)

(Well the province names have a certain..vowel aversion one might say.)

Could be Lower Stry, or just an errant map line, Or a special region..

Mm.  I daresay this sort of phalanx is a bit light by comparison.  I had them balanced to serve as a more offense-ready counterpart to the shortbow (same defence, better attack), but I suppose the difference isn't that strong.  I could up the general power of them a bit more so they're comparable to Light Swordsmen on attack and Heavy Swordsmen on defense.  How would that sound?  Changes them from a Light unit to a Medium unit.

Yeah that'd be cool, since wikipedia does say that a phalanx is made up of heavy infantry this would make sense.

Personally, I think they should be anti-cav unit. Otherwise those with horses have an advantage, and JF will screw everyone.

That's what researching pikemen and halberdiers is for.

Ah, yes.  It appears that despite my best efforts a couple of territories are unlabelled.  The missing regions are Lower Stry, Central Pork and West Fellrein.  I'll add them in for the next turn post.

Why? I have do not want to attack you. I only attack if I am attack first, and then I am allowed to go all out on your sorry ass.

adwarf was an exception. I delcared war on him over a misread resolution.

The other route beside magic is the normal path of techology. There was a certain something discoveried in the 1200's that I would really love to have for my defence.
P.S. If you really do Steampunk, I swear I will hate you forever. Well, not that I already didn't, I'd just hate your guts forever more.  :P

It wouldn't matter either way because I am set on making my vision of the gnomes which is very steampunkish.

It's just the principal of you having access to the most powerful unit in the game right now. :)

I believe the unit strength in this game is going to be a head to head race to have the strongest ones.
