By which I mean, I'm sure at some point during the great war, backed by the power of Kali, the Gnolls established ports on the isle of Tempests by a combination of force and diplomacy.

No one else has listed how their history was affected by this conflict, though, so I'm just guessing here.

Late Winter 1006

I've been exhausted lately. Having a hard time keeping track of where we need to be, what we're doing, who we're doing it for...it's just killing me. Now I know why empires have advisors! I need some lieutenants or something to delegate to. Seems like a good plan to me. They do tend to like an increase in pay though, but that can be written off on the employers at a healthy markup. Yeah, I think in the next few moons I'll need to get on that.

The seasons have been coming and going rather quickly since we started this crusade. Time flies as they say, but arrows fly farther and faster than time ever could. Some days I wonder if we can try to have more fun than we have arrows coming at our heads...then I remember that that is fun. So that begs a very interesting question: If arrows fly faster than our fun, and arrows are fun, does this mean we're having more fun than we realize? Or do we need more arrows? Running my ass off planning, plotting and marching and as exhausting as it is - WE CAN'T STOP OURSELVES!

I dunno, I enjoy the tactical bits, and setting it up. But the fighty bits are rarely fun. After all, who wants to fight if they do not know they will win? And if you know you will win, where is the fun?

I dunno, generally yes, you have to have higher than 50% odds to consider an attack. But im sure someone here will do -something- crazy.

I'm sure when I send 8 units at Highblood South which is double the numbers the enemy could have and indivually they will have at least +10 attack against the defenders defense, somehow they will ALL DIE.

Then I'll quit and play something less stupid.  ::)

Then again, I always belive saying the worse thing out loud means it wont happen.
