Well I was thinking cool events for the people that didn't get any cool events earlier. Like Dwarmin, or Phantom.

Like, Tidal Waves? Monsoons? Plague of Locusts? Hero General chokes on chicken bone beore battle?

Oh, I know! "Due to the phase of the moon, all your units take quadruple upkeep for the next ten turns. If you do not pay quadruple upkeep, they turn against you, conquer your lands and give them to Sheb."

((Come on Dwarmin, I can understand that, seeing the Pirates, you do not wish for a special event of your own, but I actually enjoy them. Losing is FUN!))

Oh sure there could be bad events. Sort of neutral events, or positive ones. We've mostly seen positive and bad events so far!

((Hell I'm just surprised that Sheb's Deep Mine hasn't spewed forth more Fun!))

((It's not that deep))

I just want them to be more often, as long as Iituem wants to write them though. Much fun for me if it involves my religion.

Nah, you're due some more minor events.  Might be next turn, might be the turn or so after.  I said this next lot wouldn't be necessarily magic-based, so I've got to think of something more 'mundane' to spring on you.

*Consults ye olde book of ideas for some assistance* Lets see, Dress it up however you like but the returns for mundane events are obvious. We're mostly looking at potential boosts in the form of Loyalty, Cash, Technology, Possibly Buildings at cut-rate prices. Even boosts to basic income or extra Units are possible.
Examples!
We could have some serious bandit troubles (Not affiliated with ye olde Camorri raiders), could be recruited for a few extra troops (at reduced price), or cleaned out for a boost to cash reserve/loyalty.
Eccentric inventors, obvious boost there is some kind of technological advance or construction of a building(possibly even one we cant build yet)
Treasure hunting/Dungeon Crawling: Cash/troops/hero go in, More cash/loot comes out.

I don't see why we should get stuff out of the event. Getting trashed is fun also.

But we all know that we're waiting for the mother of all event: the awakening of the OE.

Old Empire, the huge, lumbering purple spat in the middle of the map, full to the brim of money and troops and giant steam robots.

I am -highly- suspicious about the Grand Wizard. Dead? I think not. Not entirely.
But yeah, theres hould be negative events too. Always. Pirates, A land rocked by civil war, rebellions, Building collapses, treasury funds going missing
Army units defecting...So on, So forth.
