It intrigues me there are other Kasrs. A rebelling sub-group of Cadres, perhaps? The Fiefdoms will never know.
Cauldron's culture perhaps?

I do not understand what you are saying. I never said I already owned Steel. What are you getting at?
You said you should 'I should get some mighty bonus' as if to say since that is your goal it justifies the large amount of money you got.

Since my goal is to take the whole world it follows that my bonuses should be massive.

Initially, I planned the Cadre's to be a united nomadic group of Medieval Russians, so it's plausible that a few broke off in Cauldron and became absorbed into the culture there...

Wait, if your goal is world domination, then wouldn't that involve attacking and conquering Taricus?

I'm guessing it goes without saying that it'll be a long term goal...

The problem with individual tracking is not so much a code one as an overhead one; if I do individual tracking of units, it opens up lots of possibilities (not least experience gain etc) but it also becomes a nightmare to actually write out turn summaries as everything has to happen in one 'screen'.

If you were using .net and access or even just outputing the content to a text/excel it'd be easier. I'd probably avoid exp outside of heroes themselves though

We didn't count everyone. It doesn't matter. We just needed him to get the point.

Also, as of late, my army has experienced no real major casualties, although it does takes a lot of hits to it headcount. My Skrimishers ROCK.

I also may begin making a line of Auxiliary soldiers that can fit into any situation. May sell them as mercenaries to players in need.
Every thing is for sale in SteelTM! Except slaves. But everything else is a go.

Well, I just output everything to the IDE.  When I do a summary of the turn, they come out straight like this:

Quote from: Sample Turn Summary
Territories

Storm C (£500/turn):  Palace, Mine, Smithy.  Copper.
 (+£200: Mine)
 (+£350/turn from Smithy)
Storm S (£107/turn):  1 spearmen.
 (upk: -£20)
Storm W (£71/turn):  1 spearmen.
 (upk: -£20)
Storm N (£78/turn):  1 spearmen.  Hunting Lodge.  Game.
 (+£4/turn from game)
 (+£200: Hunting Lodge)
 (upk: -£20)
Astrid W (£154/turn):  1 spearmen, Walls.
 (upk: -£30)
Astrid C (£30/turn):  1 spearmen.  Mine.  Iron.
 (+£200: Mine)
 (upk: -£20)
Astrid E (£179/turn):  1 heavy axemen, 1+2 spearmen.  Walls.  Wine.
 (+£9/turn from wine)
 (upk: -£175)

Finances:

Cash Reserves:  £185
Revenue:  +£2082
Trade Pact(Free Tempest): +£125 [Access grain, fish]
Trade Pact(Vremya): +£84
Trade Pact(Arcadia): +£184 [Access lumber, sheep]
Trade Pact(Farland): +£108
Trade Pact(Grouting): +£137 [Access gold, coal]
Trade Pact(Brent): +£314 [Access marble]
Upkeep: -£285  [8 spearmen, 1 heavy axemen.  2 walls.]

Total:  £2934

So that part's pretty much all automated, which does save me a lot of time.  If I still had to compile all this stuff by hand we'd be getting a turn a week.  The nightmare aspect is that once we get into mid-game players will be having territories in the 20s-30s (though there will be rather less players), and that will be making summaries long enough without doing individual unit stats.

Incidentally, Slavery is a tech (three tiers) that improves wounded unit capture chances and produces very profitable primary industry buildings (£500 downpayment, £200 return/turn as a baseline).  Might drop your loyalty in the region you're taking slaves from, though.

Not worth the loyalty loss for me. Unless I can form something like the SS.
