the exact sequence is on the wiki somewhere.. but it's somehting like:
call up the releveant page in DF,->Alt+printscreen
select Mspaint => ctrl+v => crop if needed.
then file->save as
make note of the directory, I belive it defaults to "my pictures"
filename should be something distinct, like the individual's name.
save as type -> .PNG (it gives a smaller filesize, while still leaving it readable.)
then, repeat as needed to screencap all the relevant info. making sure to give each a different filename.

Did Rocko, your lead miner.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

When I started up your game the first thing I saw was a dead pony on a wall. What the hay, man? Also, ponies with tusks? Anyways, it's slow going so you should probably let me know which ponies you want prioritized (e.g. nobles or military).

Thank you very much Knarfle ^_^. And I dont know whats up thats the second time a pony has starved to death on a wall for me ><. Normally dorfs die by standing on the wrong side of the wall when it gets built not ontop lol.

Also I dont really have any prioritised ponies to be drawn maybe Nido's Pony and XShuffllee's

Pegasi and darkbolts will only fly somewhere if they can walk there, so if they derp onto a wall they're stuck. You just have to build ramps. When I get round to doing the Traditional/Simplified fork, simplified will have non-flying pegasi.

Ultimara's running rainbownies, the combo platter that includes diomedian and cave ponies. Cave ponies fill the niche dwarves usually do, and are based on underground creatures, which is why there are slippy ponies(eight legged webbers), big draltha ponies with huge manes, and tusked gorlak ponies.

And shit, I just thought: Should have done a Christmas add-on with a reindeer civ.

Oi: Dont overextend yourself, nido! :P I am counting a whole slew of new stuff in the next version, and we can have the satasfation of slaughtering deerish invaders with the help of a squad of trading Buffalo semiroyals when its ready. :D Its the holidays. Want to make us feel all warm and jolly inside? Give us a windygo and some corray eels in the next version, in winter biomes and underground accordingly. Heck, making goats/deer/antelope tribal civs( cave goats are too stupid to form a civ.) would be one of the bestist christmas gifts evah.

EDIT: A warning to all modders: never make DD's the size of Slippy ponies, and then give them slade bones. And steel skin. And [FEELSNOPIAN]. Just dont. You will thank me.

which version you using? 1.71 has diamond dogs, alhtough, they;re more cave-dwelling hunter-gatherer tribes than an actual civilisation.

They are a civ. My guess? They dont make it thru world gen.  Bump there size up to around 150000 for them to have a chance in world gen.

The entrance of my fort "Wordswoods". A desert fortress built mostly out of glass. The windmills are for a mist generator that draws from the saltwater aquifer. The obelisks...well, they're just for style.

Hey Knarfle, could you perhaps do random pictures of some of the wierder looking pony civs, like diomedians, rainbow, slippy, cave, honey-badger or tentacle ponies?
Would be nice to have a visual reference of what they roughly look like.
