Indeed, and could I bear the shame if they were better at it than I?  No, I must pet them, and never find out the truth.   ;D

I usually lean on one of the arms of my chair, my head resting betwixt my left thumb and forefinger, with my feet up, totally relaxed. My left leg falls asleep every day.

I often stroke my (nonexistent) beard whilst looking at my monitor with narrowed eyes. My cats have learned that assisting me in my fortress endeavors results in a shooing away and take care to avoid the keyboard.

There is much (very real) beard stroking involved when I am dorfing as well.  At times maniacal laughter can be heard as well.  I, however, do not steeple my fingers, I guess I am just not nefarious enough.
