Chemical smelling addiction
« on: March 20, 2011, 10:54:43 pm »

When I was young, I liked smelling books. The chemical smells are strangely pleasant to me. My father did stop me from smelling, but everytime I read a book I feel the need to smell the page. I don't smoke, but sometimes I like smelling smoke, I know its bad so I try to get out of the way of smoke, but I like the smell. Until now I still smell books.

I don't know what to do, I daren't go see a doc.

Its probably fine as long as you don't start sniffing gasoline or crystal meth.  :)  No point in wasting one of your 5 senses, right?

Books, chalk, mathematicians.

I am going to have so many complexes when I get older.

Mathematicians?

Oh, yes.  There are some that linger after they've left the room.  Especially bad on rainy days.

I like the smell of new electronic stuff.

To the point that, whenever I install a new OS in my computers I start imagining I smell it (because in a way it *feels* like a new computer)

I like the smell of books, new electronics, ozone that comes off a good electrical field and last but not least BACON.

I don't like flowers and can't stand perfume. When I was younger and worked retail, if I had to stock the candle isle my nose would literally bleed after about 15 minutes from the assault on my nose and sinuses.

Collectible card games.  I swear they put something 'special' in those packages to heighten the excitement of opening another new box.

I haven't even played them in fifteen years!
