I want to die after reading the complete version of Douglas Adam's masterpiece The Salmon of Doubt.  Seeing as he is dead and the book isn't finished, I will need to first undertake some sort of conspiracy hunt to get the secret completed manuscript or invent a quantum computer or something.  Upon reading the last page and discovering the identity of the man Dirk Gently was trailing, I will die of shock at how awesome the ending was.

Im secretly hoping that Douglas Adams is not dead but just faked his own death. The last Hitch Hikers guide to the galaxy book seemed like at the end it was meant to have a sequel...

Just being completely content and happy with my life, and then figuring out something extremely ironic, laughing for a second, and then just cease to exist. (He is by far one of my favorite characters of all time btw)
