Technically there's no such things as downstairs.

I made it clear later on but they were stilted huts. Like the one in that picture, but on poles elevated from the ground. Surely they could have some sort of stair leading up?

If not I'll change it.

I just wanted to make sure you understood. I only did the elevated hut because that was the priest's dwelling which I felt merited some special circumstance.
