I defeated my first siege, but it set off a tantrum spiral that had killed the vast majority of my fort by the time the next seige arrived.  My fort is on its way to destruction, make your time, at this point, but it's worth noting that the Gila Monster Devil leader of the goblin civilization decided to show up to help, and, immediately after entering the map, smacked one of o her subordinates in the head with one of the dozens of elf tooth crowns she's carrying (23 crowns, all made out of various bits of elves, plus assorted bracelets, earrings, rings and amulets worn about her body, all also made out of elf bits).  The suboordinate apparently decided she had had enough, and now, as goblin bowmen storm my fortress to slaughter the thirty-odd remaining dwarves, there's a goblin swordsman chasing a Gila Monster Devil Administrator around the map.

Oh Dwarf Fortress.

I'm thinking either he wears them all stacked on one another, or he has one or more one every available spot on his body.

Or maybe his head is so big that he had to glue 23 crowns together to make one crown big enough for him.

A crown of crowns? I like this idea. Maybe they're just links in a chain of crowns it wears for style?

I'm imagining carefully placed concentric circles; crowns arranged like onion slices, one after another. Just so the gila monster could whip one out and smack an insolent subordinate, then throw it away and continue on like nothing happened.

I'm pretty sure that every time I've seen goblin units show up with anything that's not a goblin, the non-goblin attacks the goblins. Usually it's human warriors.

To clarify, she was holding the crowns.  And the earings.  And a couple of bracelets.  There wasn't room on his head for the crowns on account of all the amulets.

Oh. So it was wearing them as bigger bracelets. That makes sense.
