Currently I'm trying to install the Imperium Verus and FyronsQuadrantModDeluxe210 to Space Empires IV. If I use one, it works fine, but if I try to use the other one, I end up getting LOADS of error messages. Help please?

Aurora. Error 3265 at launch. Latest version, latest version that's worked for me was 5.01 I think.

You'd be better off asking on the official forums. The only results for searches of that error are old (around ver 5.12).

Though there is something you could try that might be relevant if you run Vista/Win7: Try installing outside of Program Files.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I don't want to be a downer or anything, but threads like this really don't work. The questions and answers are going to end up horribly mixed together in a sea of cross-quoting. There's really no need for a communal all-encompassing Q&A thread when it is far more effective for people to Google, post on the game's own forums, or if all else fails, just post their own specific thread.

Don't let me stop you though. Just saying. :)

How can I go about installing my DAO expansion packs? All it does is say I need a XBOX harddrive.

The Imperium Verus mod and the FQM Deluxe mod overwrite a lot of the same file, this is a VERY common problem when trying to run more then one mod on ANY game. the FQM author is still active, maybe ask him about the files that might be the problem or get the lite version which just replaces the graphics.

I have Deus Ex: Invisible War and Thief 3: Deadly Shadows, but I can't get them to run on my Vista computer.

Anyone have any idea how to make them work?

Also try installing outside of Program Files. Some games games sometimes have problems with Vista's Program Files.

(fairly unfamiliar with XBox stuff)
Do you have a HD for your XBox? (Totally going to have ripped it out and used it for something else, I know.) Does it have enough free space? Have you tried using a different (possibly external) HD?

All I know/have done is put the disk with the expansions on it (Came with the game.) pushed the download button and got a message that says "You need an XBOX Harddrive".

What if the Google Machine doesn't give anything good? What if the game has no forums? And if they post their own specific thread, that's probably just gonna pollute this forum.
