BD:
Toaster: Do you think the game will go past the first night?

That'd require a D1 correct lynch or a NK of scum (or a horrible set of circumstances for town), so it's possible, but we'll probably see D2.  I hope not.

Unvote Jack, by the way.  Fair enough.

Org is notably less helpful than last time.

Josh, why are you trying to get BD to incriminate himself?
Eh.
Kinda.
No one is asking questions really.

Excellent, now we're getting somewhere. Now, why?
Probally because that it imply's that I have a re-direction role and may be the mafia or another harmful role.

Ah, I see. Thank you for your cooperation, though I'm not really sure how implying to have a redirection role would also imply being mafia.

The wording I was referring to was a pedantic one on my part: the fact that you said "I'm sorry" at the beginning of that very post. You see, in my mind, nobody was really attacking you, but you felt the need to apologize and why would a townie even need to do that? A nervous mafia, on the other hand, might be able to think that by apologizing, they're allaying the imagined suspicion on them.

I'm not trying to play Mr. Psychiatrist over here, but what do you think about that.

Also, I've been meaning to ask. WA, presuming we don't hit hammer, what is the time that the day will end?

Unvote Native Foreigner
Josh:The reason why I have little posts is because during the start of round two I had to fly back to Minnesota from Florida. But why are you asking me what I said that was suspicious?

No follow up questions? Just letting me go like that?

Why did you get so compliant with Josh's questions? Doesn't it seem like you're helping him scumhunt against you?

Hmmm, my opening post for today was going to be my re-evaluated scumpicks, but I want to ask something first.

Native, why vote for me? What I mean is, you direct some questions at BD for his sudden receptiveness. This, I can very well understand, since it wouldn’t be too unusual for a Mafioso to try to steer suspicion away from himself by being compliant and helpful with all questions posed to him; but then you just vote me with no reason attached.

I’m just curious, is all.

FoS everyone who updates their vote without doing anything else.  You're entirely missing the point.

Ottofar and Jack, besides each other, whom do you suspect?  Why?

I was going to say that I don't really suspect Ottofar, and that I just needed to avoid the anti-lurk punishment, but after careful rereading, he's very lurky.

At this time, I suspect Josh for his method of scumhunting (feels a bit off to get Bdthemag to explain how he's scummy).  However, it's far better than the more standard lack of anything, which is what's keeping me from voting for him.

I see it as rather normal to apologize for a lack of activity, so I don't quite understand Josh's issue with it.

Org is being less useful than I'd expect from his answer to my question, but meh, he's Org.

My vote update?  I realized that, although I had contributed during the day, I hadn't voted, and it was after 11 PM.  So I quickly got something in to make sure that I wasn't prodded for lack of voting activity.  I need to get used to voting more often than normally.

I'm not discounting BD's potential mafia-ness at all, but if I had to say, I really don't think he's that scummy. Rather, I wanted to pepper him with unusual questions to see how each person would react, and I think I did a pretty good job.

Since Native doesn't seem to be around to answer my question at the moment, I'll just go ahead with my usual plan: declaring my scumpicks.

Jack A T is the most scummy person at the moment. Why? My gut says so, or if anyone's not satisfied with that, it's because I'm getting opportunist vibes from him. Picking at a person’s perceived flaw in logic rather than attacking people, or trying to trip them up.

Ottofar isn't being useful, and I certainly don't remember him saying anything even remotely helpful

Org, whom I place into all my scumpick lists for virtue of being the human null-tell. I mean, I've played quite a few games with him in the past, and I’m not sure if and how he’s changed since then, but it’s a wise decision to never take your eye off him, if only, from my experience, his actions don’t correlate well with his role. Very uncertain.

And Toaster, let me see, ontop of a slightly more minor opportunism described above, But I’m just getting the vibe of your typical “helpful Mafioso”, or a mafia that says and does things which are stereotypically town. This is something I’ve done in the past.

If I had to place them in order, from most to least scummy, it’s:

Jack A T
Toaster
Ottofar
