Escape From New York? Oh man, I might hafta make time to join in on that. Excellent bad movie.

On the other hand, if Nic Cage, then Vampire's Kiss is always worth a watch.

Vec, didn't you say the stream would start "tomorrow", i.e. today?

Wait, Vector likes old badgood action movies? Then we have to stream The Warriors too. You can't go wrong with a cult classic based on a Classic Greece work! You also can't go wrong with the graduation class of New York's Ballet School being dressed up as 70's futuristic gangsters either. It just can't go wrong!

I fully support watching any and all available adventures of Snake Plissken.

If we go the Cage route, what are we looking for? I assume legitimately terrible movies, such as Bangkok Dangerous, or The Wicker Man if you aren't in it for the absurdity, will not be countenanced, but otherwise there's a wide range from "Mr. Cage Was The Perfect Choice" (Con Air, Face/Off) to "This Movie Is Funny Only Because of How Inappropriate a Choice Mr. Cage Was" (Lord of War, probably others).

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

D:

I think that was timezone shenanigans. . . I'm really sorry you missed it.  I think some other people may have, too.  In the future I'll be using a 24-hour clock and specific date rather than ambiguous terms like "tomorrow."

. . . This also sounds like a thing that I would like.  I'm going to have to add some sort of "future features" queue to the OP :I

I have no idea what Mr. Cage even has on tap!

I would prefer that we not watch something legitimately terrible.  I like good things.  However--my fate is in your hands~

I would've missed it anyway. Been out to town the entire day and too tired to even bother watching.

Nope, sorry... I've been taking care of some stuff.

I'll definitely show something in two weeks, though.  You can count on that.

Hey, anyone up for a New Year viewing of Colorful to celebrate my functioning computer?  It's a movie by the dude who is the spiritual successor to both Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon, and who also directed features like Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

I'm at GMT-8.  I was thinking something in the early afternoon my time--so maybe 15:00, -8GMT on New Year's Day?  How about it, people?
