Yeah, and then I finally just went "screw it, C4" and it eventually worked.  And no one came to check.  That was great, too.

Hunting for my friends, the Alaskan Vent Mice, who wouldn't come by to see me because mercenaries hug with bullets.

Being the box.

I enjoy my failures, as long as they're hilarious.

I can't wait to see your encounter with Psycho Mantis. Can you even simulate switching controller ports?

If not, then this is going to get really interesting.

I believe I can.  If I can't... well, I managed to get him before and I've got waaaay more C4 than I know what to do with.

I loved how sometimes the box disguise was utterly useless and the guards caught on once or twice. The tank fight was pretty entertaining as well. I'm still surprised at how Solid Snake was able to be run down by a dozen-or-so-ton tank, and still be able to walk/run as if not hurt.

The Grey Fox (or NASAssin) battle got a little out of hand in the chat; mostly because the dude is a masochist and loved getting hurt. It made him feel alive, if you know what I mean. We were also wondering where he was also storing his katana when it turned into a bare-knuckle brawl, until I came up with a solution that made everyone, including Janet, reach for the brain bleach. The above posts are self-explanatory. However, I wasn't the one that elaborated it to the "Candy" level.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I must have taken the story really seriously when I played through this as a child. Some of the lines are hilarious. You've made me want to play it Vector so I'm going to have to dig out my GC copy.

I noticed this and wondered how it works. Do they roll a dice to decided if it's suspicious or is there something else going on?

Clearly, we need to design, print and circulate convincing but false TPS report memos to all the henchmen about boxes and how there are delivery guys relay shipping their valuable, fragile contents. This means they need to leave any boxes they see alone unless instructed otherwise.... :P

As for the sword maso guy fight; I have brain bleach on tap. :) There were just too many wrong things to name. Though tactically, you can tell there's something off about him given he doesn't use his stealth well against Snake.

The way the sword is stored is by way of a high tech warp voodoo sheathe. Of course positioning such a sheathe on his skin tight exoskeleton was difficult, but they just used his rectal cavity.

Snake uses the same technology.

Here, Pnx, have some brain bleach. Janet didn't even pee in it, probably....
