Alrighty, then.  Unless a pack of people swim by demanding that I start, I'll just wait until the scheduled time.

Relocated my compy to a quiet part of the apartment, and am gearing up to start the MSX Metal Gear stream momentarily! I'm feeling happy with my Big Boss and Snake voices, but my Colonel Campbell needs some work.

For what it's worth, I'd appreciate an early start; 11PM-2AM isn't really an ideal time for me to be up.

Re: Livestream - Metal Gear Solid (time pending, Otacon awaiting)

Searched the topic to see if anyone had suggested the remake and found this:
This will be the orrrrriginal :D

Otacon route <3

Dunno if I'll be doing lots of killing people, though, or not.  Kind of have to figure that one out.  I have to say, though, that the thing I'll miss most from 2 by far is rolling.  That, and being able to explode melons by shooting them.
You can roll in the remake if I remember correctly. A bit late now I admit.

I'm sad that my computer crapped out just at the start of the Gray Fox fight. I didn't get to see the end.

All right, well.

I think it'd be a good idea to take a break for a day or two.  After that, on Thursday or Friday, I'm sure we'll be able to advance quite a bit.

I have no objections because I would have to miss tomorrow's anyway. Yessssssss. The best timing.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Hehehe.  So, quick check--what's better for everyone?  A one-day break, or a two-day break?

IronyOwl, you missed me dying about a billion times for stupid reasons, up to and including my ass being too big and setting off C4 in the wrong place and the wrong time.

Oh, and... Otacon, also known as The Holy Grail.

If someone has a better summary, please oblige :D

I'd prefer a zero-day break, but either is fine otherwise.

Ah, I'm hoping not to wear everyone out with the escapades, you see.

... Are people feeling worn out?  I'm okay, but I don't want people to get sick of this when they'd be happier with time off.

I liked the part where you were literally at the end of the poison gas room, and then you detonate that C4 you were talking about, and then you're trapped and die.

And I liked the part where you dodge a tank shell, and jump straight into an anti-personnel mine.

And then you get ran over by that very same tank.

I also liked the part where you're trying to get the jump on that one guard that's staring into a corner, and you're all like "Yeah, I got all the sneaks." but then he sees you and his buddy jumps into the room and shoot you to death.

And then you try again, and it happens again.

I'm not trying to be mean, these are just a few of the many highlights of this livestream.

About the time thing, I'm perfect with it. Your 3 o'clock is my 6 o'clock, and this accommodates my horrifying sleeping schedule just dandy.
