Pretty sure Dan uses a capture card for his videos and LPs.

If you have a console that can run a given game, you can pick up a cheep $10.00 USB to RCA converter, take the video output from a console (also works for DVD players and other video devices) and feed it into the computer. You need to download software to display it on your screen, though much of it is free.

Yeah, you need a pretty hefty computer to run PS2 games, specially to stream them.

Anybody that was there when I was doing my streaming can attest.

I tried streaming Shadow of the Colossus, only for it to fail spectacularly. I still have some footage in my channel, just to show. It could only go for so long until it went absolutely intolerable. I could still play, but really really slowly, and the audio wasn't much better off. Playing console games is a bit difficult when emulated and streamed on the same machine.

EDIT:
That RCA-USB cable thing sounds like a much better idea. I would love to stream Panzer Dragoon Orta and/or Jet Set Radio Future as well whenever I get around to all that. Soon enough I hope.

Vector, I do have a question: I've played MGS 1 before, and I don't remember anything about an 'Otacon Run' or a "Meryl Run", and I was wondering what they are.

I believe it's based on which of the two you rescue.
Basically whether or not you give up or succeed during the controller button breaking scene.

It affects whether you get the infinite ammo bandana or the stealth camo on the next playthrough.

Of course I may be completely wrong, in which case disregard this.

I'm a little surprised to see the "Otacon Run" being the goal, since the Meryl run is obviously the canon ending (even though in later games the characters know things revealed in the Otacon ending - I guess they talk about it later).

Is it? You start the next game in cahoots with Otacon and with Meryl nowhere to be seen, so I'd kind of expect the canon ending to be closer to the Otacon side.
