Further update: stream opens at 3:30 for audio test, etc.  Movie will, with any luck, be starting promptly at 4:00.  Provided I can remember the password to my account, etc.

Good stuff!

I think the only way to bring me to tears is by means of comedy. I found that more successful than tragedy.

All in all, however, great movie.

Thanks for watching!

I, too, successfully cleared my sinuses.  I'm not too prone to cry for myself but it's easy to cry for other people, so I tend to go in for a lot of tragedies >_> <_<  I'm looking forward to sharing more films with you guys, and some of them hopefully happier ones.

On the other hand I've been wanting to watch Bright Star again, so =/

What was that thing folks wanted me to stream next?  Arm something?

My comments on that was in 60% jest, but I was referring Arm Joe, the inexplicable japanese Les Miserables fighting game. Featuring Robo-Valjean and Javert shooting fire out of his hands :P

Hm, I've grown to trust Vector-taste sufficiently that I'll sign on to this Bright Star thing with no more knowledge of its nature than the first paragraph of the article. So long as it's an odd number of weekends from now (the 9th, 23rd, etc.) >____________>

Blasted work schedule.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I'm sorry you've been missing it ;_;  If people aren't all Romantic Tragedy'd out, I'll show it next weekend.  Otherwise, I'll try to find something fun for next weekend (as I'll definitely be able to stream), and we can see Bright Star three weeks from now.

Okay.  I personally do not think I could handle the amount of weeping I would be doing at Bright Star if we had to watch it next week, so I propose Escape From New York next weekend and Bright Star in three weeks.  Good?  Other options include that you pick My First Nic Cage Movie and we watch it together :3
