DAMN YOU, DISNEY! *shakes fist at air*

Anywho, is there an estimated time for this? I'd hate to miss the Vector-rage because you stream while I'm at work.

I'm going to try some weekend in the semi-distant future.  After my finals end (in a little bit less than a week), I will get my calendar straightened out and figure out precisely when this is going to happen.  It may be around the end of finals, or it may be when I get back from Russia (the beginning of June).

I'm extremely interested. My summer schedule is usually pretty hectic, but if I'm available whenever this happens, I will watch.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

If scheduling doesn't get in the way, I'll probably try to be there.

It's on hold from the library.

How is next weekend for everyone?  I'm going to have to leave for Russia soon, so if that doesn't work you'll need to wait a while.  However, more time means more time for me to read sociological papers on Disney, so either way is OK by me.  Just let me know what works for y'all =)

Not yet.  It's going to be Saturday or Sunday next week.  I will provide a time with GMT details attached, and I will be on time this time.

And full of rage.

Bwahaha....oh hells yes, please do. I'd even tune in for that, assuming it's not when I'm at work.

I will say, that Judge Frollo was one of the more disturbing Disney villains. I mean, how on earth did that get a 'G' rating given that his motivation is lust?

I... I don't even know, really.  I didn't even find him that disturbing, though.  The thing that was so disturbing about the original is that you ended up partially rooting for him.  I cried at the end, and all the times where he was basically begging Esmeralda to love him... the tragic thing was that it was always clear that so much of him really didn't want to.  He wanted to be good.  He knew what the good thing was.  He knew he wasn't doing it.  He did everything he could to be good, and in the end he succumbed because he was too darned weak.  Pretty much everything in his life was in order, save his conduct towards Esmeralda.

Judge Frollo... somewhat less disturbing (for me).  Kind of cardboard-ish.  No emotion.  No desire.  Just "Here I am!  I'm evil!  I'm horny!  How about it, sweetcheeks?"  And his abuse of Quasimodo... tsk.  They had a chance to give him a meager amount of character development, and yet they didn't.

Though that I should add that I last saw the film when I was 5, so my memory may be slightly stale.

I apologize Vector, in that I most likely will not be attending your livestream, I would very much like to.

For some reason, I imagined you'd be going in line, each disney movie getting it's own livestream.
